Brittany Powers

Brittany Powers is an up-and-coming eager designer and technician residing in Chicago. Brittany is currently working as a freelance hair and makeup artist and is currently the costumer at Shedd Aquarium. Most recently, she was the makeup consultant, makeup artist, and dresser for Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s production of Ms. Blakk for President. She graduated from Arrojo Cosmetology School in NYC and received her B.S. from Illinois State University, majoring in Theatrical Production and Design, focusing on costume design, costume crafts and stage management. Brittany has her cosmetology license in Illinois and New York. She also has experience in many other theatrical elements and is a great addition to any company. She enjoys working collaboratively with a team of people to create beautiful pieces of theatre.
